Sallie Lin is one of the newest members of our board. She landed in Seattle after graduating from college and following two friends who got jobs at Microsoft. Her first idea was to impact the physical and social environment by becoming an urban planner, then later, a low-income housing developer. Currently, she is an attorney at a small law firm that helps nonprofit organizations build affordable housing.

Karim Meghji found the intersection of his professional endeavors with his personal values in Eco Encore - that of a sustainable business leveraging the internet for reach, distribution and ultimately scale.  He left a career at RealNetworks in 2007, where his last role was running the company's music products and services, most notably Rhapsody.  Currently Karim is feeding his entrepreneurial desires through his new online startup, HelpHive.com, helping home owners find recommended Seattle plumbers, landscapers, cleaners, contractor, handyman and more...

Tom Murphy focuses on service learning activities for Eco Encore. He came to us through a chance exchange at an outreach event - when he learned of our mission, he thought we'd be perfect for a service learning project at his school. Dr. Murphy is the Chair of the Anthropology Department at Edmonds Community College, and he's extremely committed to engaging his students in a range of community service and experiential learning opportunities.
